FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be in different industries for thermal air treatment and transportation of material consisting of separate articles or grains of solid material in at least partially fluidized layer. Proposed device contains chute with perforated bottom for material and means to form uprising stream of air or gas through bottom of chute and material. Bottom of chute is installed for displacement from initial position in direction of material transportation and in opposite directions. When being displaced in opposite direction, bottom of chute has acceleration relative to material exceeding maximum acceleration of bottom relative to surrounding parts of device at displacement in direction of material transportation.
