FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: system has case connected in series at break of power wire. Concentrated capacitor of capacitive voltage divider is put on outer surface of case. First plate of capacitor is connected to wall of case or is formed by wall of case. Second plate of capacitor can be connected to device of primary data processing located inside case. Current instrument transformer is anchored on outer side of case on insulation spacer and its output leads are connected to input of device of primary data processing. System incorporates transmitter with data transmission channel positioned inside case, field equalizer and electric screen. Current instrument transformer is encased in electric screen. Placement of system under potential power wire allows it to be structurally simplified and its reliability to be enhanced. EFFECT: simplified process of periodic check of current and voltage instrument transformers. 5 cl, 2 dwg
