FIELD: refrigerating and cryogenic engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed compressor is furnished with additional cylinder whose rodless space is pneumatically coupled with rodless space of main cylinder. Rod of additional cylinder is made in form of shackle and is hinge-coupled with lever provided with lever turning axle displaced along its body being moved by axle displacement device. Axle displacement device is made in form of slider in guide and pneumatic cylinder with return spring whose rodless space is pneumatically connected with delivery line of compressor. Opposite end of lever is hinge-connect3ed with additional connecting rod. Lower head of additional connecting rod encloses neck of additional crank of crankshaft. Use of invention provides smooth starting, reduces noise level in supply system, starting noises, current surges and, and as a result, decreases power consumption and increases service life of electric motor and starting-and-control and protective equipment of compressor, number of in-service repairs and decreases radio and TV noise.
