FIELD: electrical engineering; power supplies for gas-discharge lamps including fluorescent lighting lamps. SUBSTANCE: gas-discharge lamp power supply has dc power source, storage capacitor, first and second electronic switches, first and second switching devices, first and second control circuits for first and second switching devices, respectively, square pulse generator, and pulse transformer incorporating primary and secondary windings. Novelty is that power supply is provided with additional dc power source and additional storage capacitor, and that pulse transformer is provided with regenerating winding and regenerating diode bridge. Gas- discharge lamp is connected in parallel with secondary winding of pulse transformer whose control winding is connected across opposite terminals of regenerating diode bridge. EFFECT: enhanced operating stability at supply voltage fluctuations, eliminated chaotic flickering of lamp, enhanced safety in operation. 1 cl, 1 dwg |
