FIELD: film made of three-dimensional perforated plastic material used as filtering layer in sanitary-hygienic articles, possibly for packaging meat products, in agriculture. SUBSTANCE: film has upper surface with large number of openings in the form of through ducts passing towards lower surface of film; adjacent through ducts are divided by means of film segments having profile with symmetrical lateral sides converging towards upper surface. Film segments have cross section in the form of semi-ellipse with small axis equal to small diameter and laid on lower surface of film itself and with apex connected to large axis and laid on upper surface of film itself. Die for making film is in the form of thick wall made of mutually joined members with converging cross section; said members are made during operations of crosswise metal deposition. Each member has three layers corresponding to number of metal deposition operations. All three layers of die may be made from the same metal or from different metals. Special shape of die allows to make three-dimensional funnel like surface absorbing large quantity of liquid.
