FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology, medicine, cardiology, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new compound of benzofuroxane series used in cardiovascular diseases and represented by the general formula (I) and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts wherein R represents -O-(CH2)n-X-R'; n = from 1 to 6; X represents NHC(O)- or oxygen atom; R' represents lower (C1-C8)-alkyl, aromatic, heteroaromatic compounds taken among the group including pyridyl, substituted or unsubstituted saturated heterocyclic ring with a single heteroatom, such as nitrogen wherein a substituent is lower alkyl; or R is taken among the following groups: (a) , (b) , (c) , (d) or (e) wherein R'' represents hydrogen atom, nitro-group; R''' represents hydrogen atom, lower alkyl. Invention discloses also method for preparing compounds of the general formula (I). Invention describes also using compounds as NO donors and/or in coronary heart diseases and pharmaceutical compositions containing compounds of the general formula (I) as active components. Invention describes also method for treatment of coronary cardiac diseases in mammal including humans by administration of compound of the formula (I) in the effective dose.
