FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: in a method including activation of concentrate, grinding, and sulfuric acid leaching, activation of concentrate is accomplished by melting blend prepared from spodumene concentrate and soda taken in amounts needed to give weight ratio of silicone contained in concentrate to summary amount of sodium and lithium (on conversion to oxides) equal to 1.91-2.61 and, before grinding, melt is granulated in water.
