FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacturing elastic polyurethane foams wherein liquid carbon dioxide is used as foaming agent includes interaction of polyol component, polyisocyanate component, foaming substance including liquid carbon dioxide, suitable catalyst and, optionally, auxiliary reagents at pressure high enough to maintain carbon dioxide in liquid state; and subsequent reduction of pressure and further interaction of preliminarily obtained mixture to give elastic foamed polyurethane. Polyol component utilized comprises polymeric polyol including at least polyether-polyol having average nominal functionality at least 2.5 with, dispersed therein, 2 to 50 wt % of polymer particles originated from styrene/acrylonitrile copolymer, polyurea, or polyurethane, their size not exceeding 50 mcm. EFFECT: improved processibility of process and hardness of foams (40%-2,9 kPa, DIN 53577), and increased its breaking strength (to 92 kPa) and elongation (to 110%, ASTM 3574). 3 cl |
