FIELD: manufacture of briquettes containing silicon. SUBSTANCE: proposed technological briquette contains silicon wastes, water and starch at the following relationship, mass-%: silicon wastes, 94; starch, 0.5; water, 5.5. Sizes of particles range from 0.1 to 3.0 mm. Method of production of such briquette includes mixing followed by briquetting procedure. During mixing, starch is added to silicon wastes and water is added in the amount of 5.5% of mass of mixture. Briquette thus made is subjected to drying at temperature of 20-28 C continued during 12-24 h. EFFECT: facilitated procedure; enhanced economical efficiency at 100-% assimilation of silicon introduced into melt. 3 cl |
