PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction method for solid electrolytic carbon dioxide gas sensor in which inoperative state of a sensor element due to deterioration can be detected surely and accurate measurement can be ensured through correct correction. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic carbon dioxide gas sensor comprises having a solid electrolytic sensor element comprises an output correction means A for checking fluctuation in the electromotive force of the sensor element during a specified interval and setting an output correction for next specified interval based on the maximum value of the electromotive force, means B1 for notifying replacement of a sensor when the output from the sensor element is higher than a sensor replacing level over a sensor replacement notification time or longer, and means B2 for alarming replacement of a sensor when the output from the sensor element is higher than the sensor replacing level over a sensor replacement decision time. |
