PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of impedance measurement to obtain a more accurate body fat index. SOLUTION: This body fat meter is equipped with a body weight measuring part and an impedance measuring part 3 to measure partial impedance of a human body as well as a calculating part to calculate body fat indices such as a body fat rate, body fat weight, etc., and a display to display the body weight and the body fat indices. The impedance measuring part 3 is formed as a matter to bring an impedance measuring electrode 30 into contact with an instep or a side face of a foot laid on a body weight measuring face 10 of a body weight measuring part. Since the instep or the side part of a foot has effect of sweating smaller than the bottom face of a foot and has low possibility of being wet and, even if it is wet, moisture can easily be wiped off, to the impedance measuring accuracy can be raised. |
