<p>PURPOSE:To provide the testing method for map precision which has a small artificial difference and has high objectivity. CONSTITUTION:An operator sticks two maps 3 and 5 one over the other on a write table 1 so that their pattern match with each other. The difference between the patterns of the two maps 3 and 5 is measured (S1) and the displacement (distance and angle) between corresponding lines of the two maps 3 and 5 is. measured (S2). A computer 7 corrects (S2) the displacement measured in S2 by using the difference between the patterns which is obtained in S1. Then, the precision of positions is calculated (S4), affine transformation is performed (S5) by using the displacement, and the precision of the affine- transformed displacement is calculated (S6). Then, the precision of the displacement values obtained in S4 and S6 are compared to test the map precision.</p> |
