[Also in Division C'3] A base, bed, platform, sub foundation or arch is supported or relevelled by injecting a reactive composition comprising a filler material, a binder comprising at least one thermosetting resin, a catalyst system comprising at least one catalyst and a decomposition accelerator for the catalyst, and optionally a thixotropic agent, the ratio of filler to binder being from 1:1 to 10:1 by weight and the amount of catalyst being greater than 2% by weight with respect to the binder, into a gap, cavity or crack caused by slip, subsidence or creep of subjacent soil. Suitable binders are unsaturated polyester resins, epoxide resins, polyurethane resins, phenoplast resins or aminoplast resins. |
