PURPOSE: A method of making cold noodles using beef stock containing an ostrich extract and a herbal extract. The beef stock has estrogen components of the ostrich extract and pharmacological effects of the herbal extract and thus is beneficial to the human health. CONSTITUTION: Twelve herbal plants are heated in water at 100deg.C for about 10hr and cooled to give a herbal extract. An ostrich is heated in water at 100deg.C for about 24hr and cooled to give an ostrich extract. Vegetables are heated at 100deg.C for 1hr or more and cooled to give a vegetable extract. The extracts prepared above are mixed in a ratio of 10%:20%:70%. The cold noodles contain 85% by weight of sweet potato starch, 5% by weight of buckwheat, 5% by weight of arrowroot starch and 5% by weight of kelp starch. |
