PURPOSE: An interfacing method during the protocol porting in a communication system is provided, which divides the boundary between the protocol core module and the system function module and is easily adapted to another protocol and system. CONSTITUTION: An interfacing method during the protocol porting in a communication system includes the steps of: detecting a service event at the system function module(23); constructing a specific service data structure at the system function module(23); constructing the interfacing message at the system function module(23) and transferring the constructed interfacing message to the interfacing module(22); receiving the data transmitted from the system function module(23), determining the interface ID and the header of data included into the data and transmitting the determined data to the determined destination; and implementing the protocol operation in response to the types of the services at the destination.
