PURPOSE: An automatically opened and shut reflecting plate of a military vehicle is provided to unfold the reflecting plate attached to the rear of the vehicle at normal times, to fold the plate at a state of emergency as a wartime, and accordingly to prevent the vehicle from being exposed in the emergent state. CONSTITUTION: An automatically opened and shut reflecting plate attached to the rear of a military vehicle to reflect light transmitted from a rear vehicle to the front and inform the position of a front vehicle is composed of a movable reflecting plate(10b) hinge-connected with a fixed reflecting plate(10a) fixed to a vehicle body and folded by the rotation of a motor(M) connected to a hinge shaft(20). The motor rotates forward and reverse by a control signal of a control unit(50) output by operating an operation switch(30) by a driver. In addition, the automatically opened and shut reflecting plate includes a first limit switch(40a) attached to the side of the fixed reflecting plate to apply an electric current when the movable reflecting plate is folded and a second limit switch(40b) attached to the vehicle body to apply the electric current when the movable reflecting plate is unfolded. The first and second limit switches are connected with the control unit.
