PURPOSE: A liquid crystal composition is provided to obtain a liquid crystal display device having a low drive voltage, and improved response time and moving picture representation. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal composition comprises dioxane having a low viscosity in the amount of 10-40 wt%. Further, the liquid crystal composition is used in a liquid crystal display device as a nematic liquid crystal composition. More particularly, the liquid crystal display device is a simple matrix type twist nematic liquid crystal display device. |
