PURPOSE: A manhole having height-regulating and sink-preventing functions is provided to regulate the height of the manhole by lifting up and down an upper body by separating and assembling upper and lower bodies and to prevent settlement by making a rainwater inlet larger than a lower connecting pipe and mounting a curved part. CONSTITUTION: A manhole having height-regulating and sink-preventing functions separates a lower body(1) having a drain connecting pipe(2) and an upper body(6) having a rainwater inlet(7) upward and downward. The extension of the manhole is regulated by housing the upper body in the lower body. The rainwater inlet is larger than a lower connecting pipe(8) of the upper body and a curved part(9) is arranged at the bottom of the rainwater inlet. A sill(3) is formed at the inner upside of the drain connecting pipe of the lower body to hold a filtering basket(12). |
