PURPOSE: A health food product comprising water and alcohol extracts of Ginseng Radix rubra and the alcohol extract of Rubi Fructus and Saururus chinensis is provided. The health food has antioxidation activity which prevents and inhibits body aging. CONSTITUTION: A health food product contains 0.01 to 5.0% by weight of a herbal extract as an active ingredient, vitamins, citric acid and sugars, based on the total weight of the product. The herbal extract comprises water and alcohol extracts of Ginseng Radix rubra, an alcohol extract of Rubi Fructus, and an alcohol extract of Saururus chinensis. The alcohol is 40 to 70% ethanol and the sugar is one or two selected from the group consisting of fructose, pure sugar, lactose or glucose. |
