PURPOSE: A rotating advertisement is provided to easily identify the rotating body in a naked eye by switching a plurality of lamps in a predetermined characters or figures in response to the signal transmitted from the encoder. CONSTITUTION: A rotating advertisement includes a rotating body(20), an encoder(30) and a display(40). The rotating body(20) is rotated together with the rotation axis(10) mounted on one end of the rotation axis(10). The encoder(30) is mounted on the central portion of the rotating body(20) and sends various signals in response to the displacements of the rotating body(20). And, the display(40) is mounted on the front surface of the rotating body(20) and a plurality of lamps(41) is arranged at a predetermined distance. The microcomputer switches the lamps(41) in response to the signal from the encoder(30) in such a way that the lamps(41) forms the predetermined characters or the figures.
