PURPOSE: A control system of a seat belt pretensioner for a vehicle is provided to permanently use a main ECU by operating the seat belt pretensioner independent of the main ECU. CONSTITUTION: A control system of a seat belt pretensioner for a vehicle includes a main ECU(100) and a pretensioner control unit(200). The main ECU comprises a micro controller(110) determining the operation of a front airbag, a side airbag, and the seat belt pretensioner and outputting the development signals of the front airbag and the side airbag and the ignition command signal of the seat belt pretensioner simultaneously when a crash detection signal is inputted; a first dual squib driver(120) developing a driver's front airbag(121) and a passenger's front airbag(122) when receiving the development signal of the front airbag from the micro controller; a second dual squib driver(130) developing a driver's side airbag(131) and a passenger's side airbag(132) when receiving the development signal of the side airbag from the micro controller; and a seat belt pretensioner interface(140) outputting the ignition command signal of the seat belt pretensioner when receiving the ignition command signal of the seat belt pretensioner from the micro controller. The pretensioner control unit comprises a main ECU interface(210) reading and outputting the ignition command signal when receiving the ignition command signal of the seat belt pretensioner from the seat belt pretensioner interface of the main ECU; and a third dual squib driver(220) operating a driver's seat belt pretensioner(221) and a passenger's seat belt pretensioner(222) when receiving the ignition command of the seat belt pretensioner from the main ECU interface.
