PURPOSE: To provide a coated cutting tool having a lubricative coating film, while maintaining abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: This coated cutting tool has the coating film of a plurality of layers on a base material. The coating film has respectively one or more layers of a first film composed of one kind of compound selected from nitride of TiSi, carbide, carbonitride, oxynitride and carboxynitride, and a second film composed of one kind of compound selected from nitride, carbide, carbonitride, oxynitride and carboxynitride of one kind of metal M selected from Ti, Cr and a TiCr alloy. The first film and the second film are alternately laminated. |
