PLC ROUTER FOR INTEGRATED HIGH/LOW-SPEED MODEM

PURPOSE: A PLC(Power Line Communication) router for integrated high/low-speed modem is provided to form easily an integrated network by integrating a low-speed power line modem and a low-speed power line modem. CONSTITUTION: A PLC router for integrated high/low-speed modem includes a power/signal coupling part(41), a front end part(42), a high-speed power line protocol processor(43), a low-speed power line protocol processor(44), a main controller(45), a memory(46), an external network connector(47), and an internal network connector(48). The power/signal coupling part(41) generates DC power from AC power, detects a signal from a power line, and couples a transmitting signal to the power line. The front end part(42) amplifies the transmitting signal. The high-speed power line protocol processor(43) and the low-speed power line protocol processor(44) perform an A/D converting process or a D/A converting process. The main controller(45) controls operations of each component. The memory(46) stores a MAC/IP address reference table. The external network connector(47) is connected between an external network and the main controller(45). The internal network connector(48) is connected between an internal network and the main controller(45).
