DEFLECTION YOKE

PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to extend a length of BSN and improve deflection sensitivity by preventing electron beams from being directly deflected at a rear end of the deflection yoke. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke for deflecting electron beams comprises a trumpet shape coil separator(80) for insulating electrically a horizontal deflection coil(70) and a vertical deflection coil, the horizontal deflection coil mounted on the inner surface of the coil separator, the vertical deflection coil mounted on the outer surface of the coil separator for deflecting the electron beams in a vertical direction, and a cylinder shape ferrite core surrounding a part of the vertical deflection coil to reinforce the magnetic field of the horizontal and the vertical deflection coil. A section radius of a predetermined portion for substantially deflecting the electron beams toward the horizontal direction in a first section(250) is different from a section radius of a predetermined portion in a second section(300) for decreasing a deflection magnetic field in the vertical direction unnecessarily generated substantially.
