PURPOSE: A vacuum container for food preservation capable of being conveniently assembled with constitutional parts together is provided to enable generation of vacuum pressure and reduction of operational power. CONSTITUTION: The vacuum container comprises a top cover(10); a sliding hole(11) vertically penetrated in the top cover(10) having a threshold part(12) on top end while an elongated part(13) extending inner circumferential side larger than thickness of the cover(10) downward; a piston part(20) for pumping; a lower cap part(30); a first and a second valve parts(40,70); a valve guiding part(50); a spring part(60); and an upper cap part(80). The sliding hole(11) is for fitting the piston part(20) to generate vacuum state inside the container.
