PURPOSE: A waist support band for protecting and treating lumbar is provided, which enables reinforced sealing by subjecting peripheral portions of the band to high-frequency welding and forming welded portions in a zigzag form. CONSTITUTION: The waist support band comprises: a lower outer cover(1) made of fabric or leather; a lower inner cover(3) made of an elastic rubber or urethane; an upper inner cover(5) made of the same material as the lower outer cover(1); and an upper outer cover(7) made of fabric or leather, the lower outer cover(1), the lower inner cover(3), the upper inner cover(5) and the upper outer cover(7) being laminated sequentially in that order, wherein peripheral and welded portions(11) of these covers are simultaneously welded to one another by a high-frequency welding method, and an air passage(13) formed between the lower inner cover(3) and the upper inner cover(5) are formed in a zigzag form.
