PURPOSE: A dehydrator for garbage is provided to improve dehydration and separation functions in a centrifugal treating type treatment apparatus greatly reducing volume of the garbage by crushing, dehydrating and drying garbage. CONSTITUTION: The dehydrator for garbage comprises a crushing/dehydrating device(6) consisting of a bottom plate(61) which is directly connected to a motor shaft(72) of a power-driven device(7) and has downwardly formed vanes(61b), a movable crushing blades(62) for garbage crushing which are axially installed on the upper surface of the bottom plate, and an elastic scraper(66) which is integrated with a guide ring(65) on the upper part of the disk shaped rings(64) by laying several disk shaped rings having different diameter on the bottom plate, and which is installed at one side of the guide ring; and a discharging device(9) in which a rack(94a) is formed on a right side end of a discharge hole open and shut door(93), and a pinion(94b) engaged with the rack and a scraping drum(95) under the pinion are axially installed on the same shaft.
