PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing apparatus for stabilizing color tones equal with or more than a secondary color easily in a short time by creating a multi-dimensional table for calibration. SOLUTION: A color patch corresponding to a signal value of a color as a calibration target is formed by a printer (S302 and S303), the signal value is calibrated based upon a colorimetric value of the formed color patch and a target value corresponding to the signal value of the color as the calibration target (S305 and S306), and multi-dimensional table data for calibration are created based upon the colorimetric value of the formed color patch (S307).
