PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone having a ringing function for notifying its location in response to a particular sound. SOLUTION: A memory 4 has a comparison data storing means for storing a reference external sound to be a reference for representing the ringing function. A control part 3 has an external sound comparing means for comparing an inputted external sound with the reference external sound recorded in the memory 4. While the ringing function is set, the control part 3 compares an external sound received from a radio part 2 with the reference external sound, and if the data of both of them coincide, the control part 3 generates a preset incoming call pattern.
