PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the manufacturing process of an electroacoustic transducer of an electrodynamic type. SOLUTION: A diaphragm sub-indenter 12 is constructed from a voice coil 22, a diaphragm 20, a frame 24 and a pair of terminal members 26; a cover 18 provided to cover the diaphragm 20 is constructed as a cylindrical member having a bottom; and the diaphragm sub-indenter 12 and an external magnetic type magnetic circuit unit 14 are received in the cover 18. Thus, in the state wherein the cover 18 is arranged to have its open end 18c facing upward, the electroacoustic transducer can be assembled by dropping the diaphragm sub-indenter 12, a magnet for constructing the magnetic circuit unit 14, a yoke 32, and a base 28 into the cover 18, in the order of the diaphragm sub-indenter 12, the yoke 32, the magnet 30, and the base 28.
