PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a usage rate of the condensate treatment agent, when restricting corrosion to be generated in boiler equipment by using the condensate treatment agent. SOLUTION: In the boiler equipment 1 provided with: a boiler 2 for generating steam by heating the supplied water; a water supply unit 3 for supplying water to the boiler 2; a steam supply unit 5 for supplying the steam generated by the boiler 2 to load equipment 4; and a condensate supply unit 6 for supplying the condensate of the steam used in the load equipment 4 to the water supply unit 3, a method of restricting corrosion in the condensate supply unit 6 by using the condensate treatment agent contains a measuring process for measuring concentration of the bicarbonate ion in the supplied water of the water supply unit 3, and a condensate treatment agent supply process for supplying the condensate treatment agent to, at least, any one of the water supply unit 3 and the steam supply unit 5 on the basis of a result of the measurement in the measuring process.
