PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING CARBON NANOTUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency by synthesizing a large number of carbon nanotubes at a low temperature through arc discharge method, and to provide a process for easily manufacturing single- or double-layer carbon nanotubes having few defect. SOLUTION: In the process, the carbon nanotubes are synthesized with a plasma generated through abnormal glow discharge between an anode part and a cathode part located inside a reaction chamber into which a reaction gas is introduced.
