PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer aiding apparatus which is inexpensively produced, and consists of a simple structure, and with which a transfer is reliably performed even when a belt is loosened. SOLUTION: This transfer aiding apparatus for pushing out a slide table 1 with a person laid thereon in a horizontal direction in order to assist a transfer work includes: a table push-out pneumatic actuator 2 for supporting the slide table 1, and pushing it out in a push-out direction; a base 15 for supporting the table push-out pneumatic actuator 2; a table roller 3 arranged in the slide table 1; fixing rollers 4a-4f disposed in the base 15; mobile rollers 6 to be relatively movable with respect to the base 15; the belt 7 stretched over the table roller 3, the fixing rollers 4a-4f, and the mobile rollers 6; and a headless cylinder 8 for moving the mobile rollers 6 in a reciprocative manner in a direction to loosen or tighten the tension of the belt 7.
