PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an APC circuit by which a pull-in time is reduced and an influence from the disturbance of an APC loop is reduced. SOLUTION: In the APC circuit, a comparing and amplifying means for comparing a set output by an optical output setting means with a detected output of an optical output of a semiconductor laser by an optical output detection means to output the compared result comprises two systems of comparing and amplifying means which differentiate the loop band of a circuit. The band is set wide in a pull-in operation in a semiconductor laser light output control circuit, and the band is set narrow in the other operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
