摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the amount of a reagent consumed under a high gold extraction rate in a gold refining process using innocuous thiosulfate as an alternative to a gold cyanidation process using cyanogen. <P>SOLUTION: In the gold refining process, where gold ore is leached by using thiosulfate to deposit gold by displacement from the resultant leachate, ammonium thiosulfate is used as the thiosulfate and nickel is used as a catalyst for leaching. Moreover, the displacement deposition of gold from the leachate can be performed by the addition of zinc dust, and the tail liquid resultant from the displacement deposition of gold can be recycled into the leachate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
