<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image forming apparatus which makes a repeat function and an interchange sheet function compatible by interlocking both of image edit processing and page edit processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a paper feed transfer means 141 having a plurality of paper feeding trays which store the transfer paper before image formation, image edit means 101, 112 which realize the repeat function by performing image edit for repeatedly forming the same image on the same transfer paper, page edit means 101, 141 which realize the interchange sheet function by performing page edit for inserting the transfer paper from a desired paper feeding tray into a specified page position, an operation means 120 which accepts specification of the repeat function and the interchange sheet function and a control means 101 performs control so that the image edit by the image edit means is executed after page editing by the page edit means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
