PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently grasp a tendency of viewing stream-distributed contents.

SOLUTION: A control message communicated between a stream distributing apparatus 2 and a client 1 is saved in a recording part 41, an operation performed by every user is grasped by utilizing the information, and which part is repeatedly viewed or which part is not viewed is statistically processed by a statistic processing part 45 from the operations of a plurality of users with respect to arbitrary contents. Besides, a viewing part extracting and encoding function part 40 automatically creates a digest of contents from the information of the repeatedly viewed part and the original contents.
