<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for quickly eliminating gas leakage without detaching a pipe against leakage generated at an FF flange without steps on a flange face of the pipe. <P>SOLUTION: According to this flange leakage mending method, gas leakage is stopped without detaching the pipe. Flanges 11, 12 with a plane flange face are brought into contact with each other via a packing 13. To the gas leakage generated at a flange pipe connection part fixed with a bolt 14 and a nut 15 by bolt holes formed to the flanges 11, 13, this method has (a) a grinding step for grinding the packing 13 to a line contacting with a pair of adjacent bolts 14, (b) a bolt exchange step for exchanging the bolt 14 with a grooved bolt 18 with a groove formed along an axial core, (c) a wire winding step for winding a wire outside the grooved bolt 18 and the ground packing 13, and (d) a resin insertion step for inserting resin from a groove 18a of the grooved bolt 18 with a predetermined pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
