PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system in which a speaker unit is easily detached from and mounted onto the inside of a casing and any problem does not occur in appearance, either. SOLUTION: The speaker system is provided with a pole-shaped casing 2 which can locate a speaker unit 3 in its internal space 2d and is provided with an opening 21 on its lateral side 2a, a slide plate member 4 having the speaker unit 3 which is loaded from the opening 21 to a prescribed position inside the casing 2 by sliding, and is taken out of the casing 2 to the opening 21 by sliding, and a closing plate 5 for closing the opening 21.
