摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operating margin with respect to condition variations of a process or the like. SOLUTION: The voltage comparator includes: a first voltage comparison section for outputting a signal in response to a bias voltage, and first and second input voltages; a second voltage comparison section for receiving a first differential voltage whose common mode voltage is nearly equal to a common mode voltage of the input voltages and outputting a signal in response to the bias voltage and the first differential voltage; a third voltage comparison section for receiving a second differential voltage whose common mode voltage is deviated from a first power supply voltage more than the common mode voltage of the input voltage and greater than the first differential voltage and outputting a signal in response to the bias voltage and the second differential voltage; a current control circuit outputting a control current; and a bias voltage generating circuit for generating and outputting the bias voltage in response to the control current, the current control circuit outputting the control current so that the bias voltage generating circuit outputs a bias voltage in a manner of decreasing a voltage difference between output signals from the second and third voltage comparison sections.
