<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packed fractionating tower having a liquid distributor capable of efficiently distributing a liquid in a cryogenic air separation apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: By making a shape of a liquid-streaming-down distribution box 171 mounted in a topmost stage of the distributer 17 a trapezoid or a triangle against a stream, turbulence caused by a face directly facing the stream is buffered, and the liquid can be efficiently streamed down from a porous plate because the stream aslant abuts on a side face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
