<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inversion device 20 capable of inverting a conveyance object having unstable shape automatically. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary body 72 is rotatably supported on a machine body 71. A first conveyance part 92 and a second conveyance part 93 are provided at opposite positions where conveyance faces 100, 103 oppose mutually in the rotary body 72. The second conveyance part 93 is moved to provide an opening and closing means 94 opening and closing an interval between the first conveyance part 92 and it. A driving means 79 is provided to rotate the rotary body 72 to a first rotation position where the first conveyance part 92 is positioned on a bottom part side and rotate it to a second rotation position where the second conveyance part 93 is positioned on a bottom part side. The conveyance object is received into the first conveyance part 92 at the first rotation position of the rotary body 72 to close the first and second conveyance parts 92, 93 and hold the conveyance object. The rotary body 72 is rotated to the second rotation position to invert the conveyance object and support it by the second conveyance part 93 and open the first and second conveyance parts 92, 93 and release holding of the conveyance object.
