PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structure lens hood which makes it possible to set a camera at a desired angle without using a tripod. SOLUTION: The lens hood 10 is disposed at the front end of a lens barrel 24, fitted in a groove (not shown) formed in the lens barrel 24, and attached rotatably in the circumferential direction of the lens barrel 24. The lens hood 10 has a projection 12. The projection 12 is formed on the lens hood 10 in such a manner that radial distances with respect to the optical axis (center axis L2) of the lens barrel 24 differ according to the circumferential direction. The projection 12 is rotated in the circumferential direction of the lens barrel 24 and thus, projected from the bottom of the lens barrel 24. As a result, a camera body 22 can be kept in a tilted position when set on a support surface 60. Accordingly, the body 22 can be set at a desired tilt angle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
