PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and inexpensively manufacturing two-color turning particles having a narrow particle size distribution. SOLUTION: A side-by-side type compound fiber comprising two thermoplastic resin colored compositions different from each other in both hue and electrostatic charge property in a dielectric liquid is spun and cut into chips of a uniform length and the cut chips are spheroidized by heating, whereby two-color turning particles having a narrow particle size distribution can be easily and inexpensively manufactured in a high yield.
