PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stepless fine adjustment of a direction in which a flash is emitted. SOLUTION: The electronic flash apparatus comprises a header having a light emitting part and a main body which has a mechanism for mounting the apparatus on a camera. In the electronic flash apparatus, the header and the main body are connected together by a rotating mechanism which steplessly rotates the head in a horizontal or vertical direction. Thus, a direction in which a flash is emitted can be steplessly and finely adjusted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
