PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cheap visual inspection apparatus capable of easily changing photograph multiplying factor of an optical system depending on the variation in the size of an inspection subject. SOLUTION: The visual inspection apparatus 100 uses a camera 104 to photograph subject S to be inspected and then inspect it based on the photographed image. It is provided with a camera side optics 118 with a radiographic optics 114 for the camera 104 installed in the camera body, and an objective optical system 120 arranged on the testing subject side of the camera side optics 118 so as to allow the radiographic optics 114 to be a telecentric optics for the object side, where the camera side optical system 118 is independently exchangeable with the objective optical system 120. The camera side optical system 118 contains a lens side mount 122 to be attached to a body side mount provided on the camera body, thereby, it can attachably/detachably be installed to the camera body.
