PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which can prevent the occurrence of image deviation and a satin finished image. SOLUTION: The fixing device is constituted in such a manner that that P1 and Pb are nearly the same and that P2 is considerably greater than P1 and Pb when the nip surface pressure by a first pressure contact roller 12a arranged in an inlet section of a nip is defined as P1, the nip surface pressure by a second pressure contact roller 13b arranged in an outlet section of the nip as P2, and the nip surface pressure by a fixing belt 12 between the first pressure contact roller 13a and the second pressure contact roller 13b is defined as Pb.
