PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hatch cover having simple constitution wherein a hatch cover is opened and closed by relatively low power and even by a small number of actuators. SOLUTION: In the hatch cover, the height of rails on which wheels for moving the hatch cover run is changed in the longitudinal direction so that the height of the hatch cover is changed while moving the hatch cover. When closing a hatch, water tightening and air tightening are kept by lowering the hatch cover, and when opening the hatch, the hatch is released by raising the hatch cover. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
