摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling load predicting method for metal sheet rolling which can predict the rolling load with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In rolling a metal sheet, a rolling load is predicted by calculation using a shape ratioΓand a sheet biting angleϕas parameters of a function of a draft force Q, which is a constituent element of a rolling load equation. The equation for calculating the function of draft force Q is characterized by satisfying Q = a + b x x<SP>n</SP>+ c/x<SP>m</SP>, wherein at least one of a, b, c, n, and m is a variable using the sheet biting angleϕas a parameter with the others being a constant, x is represented byα(Γ+β) whereαandβare each a constant andΓrepresents the shape ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
