<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-layer microlens array and a manufacturing method therefor which simplify the method of manufacturing the microlens array, reduce the cost of equipment, shorten the manufacturing time and also reduce the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: After a first microlens array 15 is prepared on one end face part 24a in the thickness direction of a base 24, light from a light source is transmitted through the array 15.
